Cutters original spray truck

Owned by Geoff Woods and David Woods, and purchased from cutter in the mid 80’s. Michael Castor drove this truck for cutter way back before MCA was founded. The only original parts on this 510 Acco are the chassis and cab – every other component was done up big time! It’s run by an 8.2L GM and was retired from spraying (booms removed) about 12 years ago. We still use it as a water truck and it runs well – it’s always been nicknamed “the beast”, if you ever take it for a drive you’ll find out why. I wouldn’t mind a dollar for every hectare this rig has sprayed! I learnt how to spray in “the beast”!

Shane Klante of Nyngan and his Phillips Acremaster

Our first ever featured boomspray is this incredible workhorse. Shane Klante of Nyngan modified a 2002 30m 4500L Hydraulic Fold Trailed Boomspray by extending it to 36m and swapping in a bigger tank. The boomspray was then attached to a Phillips Acremaster tractor.
