 48 m Trailed Boomspray

Hayes Spraying is committed to the development and improvement of all their sprayers.

With farmers being under constant pressure to stay productive, work with smaller windows and less labour, it is no surprise that Boomsprays are getting larger. Hayes Spraying have been at the fore front of this development and have just released the 48 m trailed sprayer with 8000l tank.

The first 48 m sprayer was purchased by Mr Matthew Harris pf "Plainview" Cryon in North Western NSW. Matthew's sprayer is about to commence its third season of work and has already clocked up some 300 000 acres of spraying without a hitch. Matthew says that the sprayer enables himself and one other man to comfortably look after the spraying on the 20 000 acres of farming at "Plainview". Matt states that one man can  spray 2000 acres in one day, saying "We can get twice as much done in half the time". Hayes Spraying is about to deliver their seventh 48 m Boomspray ( March  2008)  to go into the Moree district.

The 48 m Boomspray includes all the regular features of a "normal sized" boomspray. They include a fully suspended boom, supported by twin chains, self levelling boom with stabilizing shock absorbers, two stage hydraulic fold parallelogram boom lift, on a fully welded chassis with 16.9 x 30  wheels on bogie suspension.
